Active2018 MCE & Elective Continuing Education Requirements

New for 2018

IMPORTANT: The licensure requirements for 2018 have changed. If your real estate license expires in June 2018 you are now required to complete 10 hours of continuing education of which 4 hours must be the Mandatory Core Class also known as MCE. If you are a REALTOR, you are required to complete 2 hours of ethics training every two years. Please contact your local Association for a list of classes that are available and whether or not that class will also qualify for CE credit.

Overview

Since most licensees will be taking the REALTOR ethics class we will be offering 8 hours of Continuing Education which will include the MCE Core Class.

All classes will be held at 700 Huger Street.

Continental breakfast will be provided and as is an optional lunch presentation.

Core Class taught by either Gary Pickren or Jordan Stallings.

Electives taught by Gary PickrenJordan Stallings, Cynthia Blair or Rex Casterline.

About the Author:

Gary has been a real estate attorney since 1995. He is rated AV Preeminent by his legal peers. The two-time Closing Attorney of the Year is also a licensed real estate broker and real estate agent instructor. Gary served on the CCRA Contract Committee that wrote the current sales contract. He helped rewrite the South Carolina Seller Disclosure Form and helped write the 2015-16 MCE Class. Gary has taught continuing education to real estate agents on topics such as federal and state real estate law, contracts, agency, disclosure and ethics.
