Morgan Boes

Attorney

Morgan Boes is an Associate Attorney, assisting clients with estate planning, tax planning and probate matters. She practices out of the Columbia office.

Morgan is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and graduated with a BS in Political Science from Auburn University in 2020. She always knew she wanted to practice law in her home state of South Carolina so she moved back to attend law school at The University of South Carolina.

While at USC, Morgan was the President of the Pro Bono Board where she had the incredible opportunity to participate in and lead several pro bono projects such as being a Guardian ad Litem for the Probate Court, answering letters for the prisoner correspondence team, and other projects in the community. Morgan was a Konduros Fellow after her first year of law school and spent the summer working with Victims of Crimes Attorneys at South Carolina Legal Services. She was also the Vice President of the Family Law Society, a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, Women in Law, and the Children’s Advocacy Law Society. At graduation, she was awarded the I.M. Goldberg South Carolina Bar Foundation Scholarship, the John R. Holland Award, and the Hugh L. Wilcox Pro Bono Award,

The I. M. Goldberg Scholarship is awarded to one deserving University of South Carolina law student. The scholarship was established by fellow attorneys to honor the memory of I.M Goldberg, a well-known family law practitioner in Charleston. The John R. Holland Scholarship is awarded by the School of Law to a third-year student who has demonstrated leadership and a commitment to extracurricular activities with consideration also being given to academic performance. Lastly, the Hugh L. Wilcox Pro Bono Volunteer of the Year Award is given to a deserving student who demonstrates a dedication to public service as well as a commitment to the Law School and legal education.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys playing with her rescued black lab Mae, going to the beach or out on the boat, and spending time with her friends and family.
