Is Your Real Estate License Expiring June 30, 2019?

by | Feb 1, 2019 | Legal Tips

If your Real Estate License expires on June 30, 2019, you must complete your Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE) and Continuing Education (CE) hours prior to the renewal date. In order to satisfy your education requirement you must complete 10 hours of MCE/CE. Of this 10 hours, 4 hours must be from the Mandatory Core Class. This year’s class is entitled, “The Three P’s of Professionalism”. The remaining six hours for compliance may be from any commission approved elective.

NOTE: IF YOUR ARE A REALTOR, THE MCE/CE REQUIREMENTS ARE SEPARATE AND APART FROM THE REALTOR ASSOCIATION ETHICS CLASS REQUIREMENT. DO NOT ASSUME THAT A CLASS YOU TAKE FOR MCE/CE CREDIT WILL MEET THE REALTOR ASSOCIATION’S REQUIREMENTS. ONLY THE REALTOR APPROVED CLASS COUNTS TOWARD REALTOR ETHICS. LUCKILY THE REALTOR ASSOCIATION ETHICS CLASS IS ALSO APPROVED FOR CE CREDIT.
