After practicing law for over 36 years, Jeff has landed at Blair Cato to start an exciting new chapter in his legal career. Jeff was drawn to Blair Cato by their professionalism and drive to be the best at their chosen areas of practice. Jeff hopes to be a welcome addition to Blair Cato by integrating his real estate and creditor rights practice into their firm. Jeff represents various lenders and banks in their commercial and consumer collections to include bankruptcy. Jeff also has numerous contacts with realtors in Columbia and is associated with relocation companies that assist employees who are moving in or out of the greater Columbia area.

Jeff and his wife have lived in Forest Acres, Forest Lake, Wildewood and are now residents of Woodcreek Farms. Jeff and Linda’s daughter, Marissa, is a TV Producer who is now residing in Louisville, Kentucky with prior stints in Amarillo, Texas, and Anchorage, Alaska. Their son, Keenan, is in the computer software world and is currently residing in Lakewood, Colorado.

His Story

Since graduating from UGA and coming to Columbia to attend USC Law School, Jeff has been involved with the: American Heart Association as a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the S.C. Affiliate (1992-1994) and a member of the Mid-Atlantic Board of Directors, American Heart Association (1998-1999); Board of Directors and President of Columbia Country Club (1994-1995); and a member of the Steering Committee and initial Board of Directors of the Members Club at Widewood & Woodcreek (2009-2010). Jeff was formerly on the Board of Directors of Tree of Life Temple and is a Spring Valley Rotarian.

When Jeff is not working or volunteering, he is playing golf or tennis. Don’t be alarmed or concerned if Jeff is not available on some Friday afternoons when the sun is shining and he is out of the office inspecting 18 parcels of prime real estate.
