Richland County just issued the county real estate tax bills today. If your client is closing between now and the end of the month, please be aware that final closing numbers have changed. Instead of the buyer getting a tax proration credit from the seller, the tax bill will be prorated and paid as of the day of closing. Escrow account numbers will also be adjusted.
